The Philadelphia Flyers reduced their training camp roster by seven players and placed six players on waivers Wednesday afternoon.
General Manager Daniel Briere announced the moves after the team's practice Wednesday.
The Flyers are halfway through their preseason, having lost their first two games - 5-2 to the Washington Capitals and 5-1 to the Boston Bruins.
After Wednesday's roster changes, the Flyers have 29 players on their active roster. The team must cut six more players before their season opener next Wednesday.

In addition, forward Matthew Gard had been returned to the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
The news came one week before the Flyers open their season against the Pittsburgh Penguins at home.
