There’s a question people don’t always say out loud when they begin exploring senior living, but it sits quietly underneath everything:
“Will my life still feel meaningful here?”
It’s a fair question. Because this isn’t just about where you live—it’s about how you live.
At Friends Village, the answer reveals itself not in brochures, but in moments. In conversations that linger a little longer than expected. In trying something new just because you can. In realizing that this next chapter isn’t a step back—it’s a step into something fuller.
A wonderful way to experience that feeling firsthand is by joining us for our Open House Tour on April 15 from 10 am to 12 pm. Walk the campus, meet residents and staff, and get a genuine sense of what community-centered living looks like when it’s done well (and with heart).
And April? It’s a perfect snapshot of life here.
Our beloved Yoga for Seniors returns as a six-week workshop, held Mondays and Thursdays at 2 pm—gentle movement, a little strength, and a lot of “oh, I can still do that.”
For those who love a good story (and really, who doesn’t?), we’ll be screening I’ll Knock a Homer for You, a look at Babe Ruth, alongside engaging programs on Alice Paul, New Jersey’s Crusader, and John Woolman.
We’re also proud to host our third WHYY Bridging Blocks gathering, a monthly initiative designed to bring people together through meaningful conversation. April’s topic? Artificial Intelligence—because curiosity doesn’t retire.
And if you’re already thinking ahead, May brings a six-week dance class—joyful movement, a few laughs, and maybe even a new favorite way to spend an afternoon.
Because ultimately, life at Friends Village isn’t defined by a schedule—it’s shaped by shared moments. Lifelong learning. Unexpected friendships. The quiet, steady realization that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
If you’ve been wondering what this next chapter could look like, come see for yourself.
