It's officially MLB All-Star week. America's 250th Birthday couldn't be any more exciting. The World Cup has been bringing celebrations to every corner of the nation, and now the birthplace of the USA is set to host MLB's signature event. Here's a quick overview of everything going on over the next week.
When: Friday, July 10, gates open at 5 p.m., Game begins at 7 p.m.

If you're looking to dive into a notepad and embark on a journey to find the next Cristopher Sanchez, the HBCU Swingman Classic is a must-see. Founded by MLB legend Ken Griffey Jr., this yearly event has become a perfect opportunity for student athletes from historically Black colleges and universities to showcase their talent in front of MLB scouts and adoring fans.
When: July 11-14
Where: Pennsylvania Convention Center
If you don't have tickets to the All-Star Game, don't fret! The Capital One All-Star Village will bring fans close to the heart of the action, with plenty of festivities.
On top of the prizes, great food and competitions, fans will have a chance to get up close and personal with Phillies legends. Players like Steve Carlton, Manny Trillo, John Kruk, Larry Bowa, and Greg 'The Bull' Luzinski, will all be in attendance. If that wasn't enough, you'll get to rub shoulders with some of the stars from the 2008 World Series-winning team, including both Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins, who will be recording a live podcast episode of 'The 6-1-1' at the All-Star Village.

Just before the All-Star festivities hit their peak, the opening rounds of the 2026 MLB Draft will be hosted live at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Getting to potentially be in the room when the pick of a potential future Big Leaguer for your city is made is going to be pretty special for those in attendance.
The Phillies enter the Draft with picks 36, 64, 100, 128, and 135.
Per MLB.com, the schedule for the Draft is as follows:
Day 1: Saturday, July 11 (Rounds 1-4)
• 1-2:30 p.m. - Picks 1-10 (NBC/Peacock)
• 2:30-4:30 p.m. - Picks 11-40 (MLB Network, MLB.com, MLB TV, MLB+)

All-Star Sunday is absolutely packed with baseball goodness. Kicking things off at Citizens Bank Park is the All-Star Futures Game, which will feature the likes of Philly's own Gage Wood. The game will be streamed on NBC for those unable to attend in person. Once that finishes, the MLBx: All-Star 3-on-3 takes place, which promises fans an exciting format destined to showcase some big hits and acrobatic catches. With MLB legends and some surprise guests too, this won't be an event you'll want to miss.

One of the most anticipated events of the baseball season, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby comes to Philadelphia for the first time since 1996 on Monday with a star-studded roster of 8 hitters, all looking to hit bombs across three rounds in the pursuit of joining some of the biggest names in history as a Home Run Derby Champion.
Last year's Home Run Derby saw a stunning 210 homers hit on the night. Will we see more than that in the City of Brotherly Love?

Presented by Mastercard, you'll have a chance to see which side of the league has the most swagger, the AL or NL. The leagues' top stars will grace the infamous red carpet, dazzling everyone in Philadelphia ahead of the signature event.
