New Hope-Solebury High School ranked No. 4 among public high schools in Pennsylvania in the 2026-27 Best High Schools rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.

The ranking marks the second consecutive year the high school has placed fourth in the state, according to the school district. It also ranked No. 1 in Bucks County and No. 6 in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Nationally, New Hope-Solebury High School ranked No. 254 among nearly 18,000 public high schools evaluated by U.S. News. The school ranked No. 308 nationally in the previous rankings.

U.S. News' Best High Schools rankings evaluate public high schools using measures that include college readiness, college curriculum breadth, state assessment performance, underserved student performance and graduation rates.

“This recognition is a reflection of the tremendous work happening every day in our classrooms and throughout our school," said principal Patrick Sasse. "Our students challenge themselves, our faculty continue to innovate and grow and our staff members are deeply committed to knowing and empowering every student to thrive.”

Superintendent Charles Lentz said the school's continued state ranking and higher national ranking reflect what he described as the consistency of the district's educational programs.

"This recognition reflects the collective commitment of our entire school community to academic excellence, meaningful opportunities and preparing our students for the future of possibilities.”
