The “Very Best Christmas Bazaar Ever,” hosted by St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church’s Social Concerns Committee, is coming on December 6! The Bazaar will be held in the Parish Center, located behind the church, at 752 Big Oak Rd. in Morrisville, from 10 am to 3 pm. This annual charitable event will host multiple crafters showcasing wood, ceramic, acrylic & metal crafts, jewelry, home décor, candles, crocheted, handsewn and knit items, food gifts and more! Non-profits will be selling wreaths and greens. Unique handmade ornaments crafted by artisans from Nepal, Uganda, Peru and Kenya, will be for sale through Ornaments 4 Orphans, a fair trade company, which helps to create jobs, fight poverty, and create community. As always, admission is free!
Santa will visit from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, so bring the kids! Cops ‘N Kids will be giving out free books, and a face painter will be available to bring smiles to all!
Raffle tickets for crafters’ items will be on sale. Come and do some shopping! Get into the Christmas Spirit and support your community in the process.
The Interfaith Food Alliance (IFA) in Morrisville will have a raffle at the event, with luxury gift baskets just in time for gift giving. The IFA will also run a 50/50 ( winner need not be present) and have lunch items available for purchase. The IFA comprises 15 faith-based communities joining together to fight hunger in the Morrisville School District by educating the community, advocating for those in need, and feeding hungry children and their families. All the proceeds from their sales will benefit their food pantry.
Proceeds from the Bazaar will benefit the St. John Social Concerns Committee, which provides meals for the homeless, and supports local, national, and global agencies for emergency and disaster relief. For further information, contact sjechristmasbazaar@gmail.com.
