A pair of Philadelphia Phillies icons will be managing in the 2026 All-Star Futures Game on July 12 at Citizens Bank Park at 12 p.m.

It was announced Wednesday afternoon on MLB Network that Shane Victorino and Larry Bowa will lead the National League and American League squads, respectively, for the prospect showcase.

It is the 27th year for the annual showcase game that highlights the game’s future stars, with all 30 MLB teams represented in an AL vs. NL format, which began in 2019 after a two-decade run of U.S. vs. World matchups.

Last season, Eduardo Tait was the lone representative for the Phillies in a 4-2 National League win.

Other former Phillies who have participated in the contest include Pat Burrell, Ryan Howard, Brett Myers, Chase Utley and Alec Bohm.

Victorino, who recently made a guest bartending appearance at Citizens Bank Park on Monday, became a fan favorite during his eight seasons with the Phillies, earning the nickname “Flyin’ Hawaiian."

Philadelphia is where the speedy outfielder spent the bulk of his 17-year big league career and was a two-time All-Star representing the Phillies, where he hit .279 with a .784 OPS and 179 stolen bases while hitting .279 with a .784 OPS in red pinstripes.

He was also part of the 2008 World Series team, beating the Tampa Bay Rays to earn the organization’s second championship.

Bowa, who serves as a senior advisor to baseball operations for the Phillies, has been a baseball lifer, spending over 50 years in the game.

Starting his career with the Phillies as a shortstop from 1970 to 1981, he played in 2,247 career games with the Phillies, Chicago Cubs (1982-85), and New York Mets (1985). He was part of the infield that helped the Phillies win their first-ever World Series in 1980, where he hit .375.

The 2001 NL Manager of the Year, Bowa managed the Phillies from 2001 to 2004 and was at the helm when he and the Phillies ended a streak of seven straight losing seasons.
