Xfinity Mobile Arena unveils salivating new food options for Flyers & Sixers fans

Going to a Flyers or Sixers game is about more than what happens on the ice or the court. For plenty of fans, finding something good to eat is part of the gameday experience. I was able to get an exluslive preview of what fans can look forward to getting this year at Xfinity Mobile Arena. 

One of the more unique additions is the short-rib corndog. Instead of the traditional version, the short-rib option is an elevated way to eat to eat a fan favorite corndog.

The new chicken gyro gives fans another quick and filling option during a game and smells as good as it looks!

Another debuting menu item is the beer-fermented soft pretzel, offering a new take on one of the most recognizable snacks associated with Philadelphia.

For fans looking for something with greens, the new blood orange and fennel salad provides a tasty, but healthy option.

Rita's Italian Ice is part of the arena's food lineup, bringing a familiar Philadelphia favorite into the building

For those with an even bigger sweet tooth, beignets are also among the new items available this season. 

Of course, some of the arena's most popular food options aren't going anywhere. Fans can still grab Philadelphia staples like Chickie's & Pete's Crab Fries and cheesesteaks, along with burgers, pizza, chicken tenders and soft pretzels.

There are also established food spots throughout the arena, including Shake Shack, Buena Onda, 9th Street Italian Sandwiches and Insomnia Cookies.
