Your Medicare plan is changing. Now is the time to review it.

Posted

By now, if you’re enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, you should have received your Annual Notice of Change, commonly called the ANOC.

This is one piece of Medicare mail you do not want to ignore.

Your ANOC explains what will be different about your plan beginning January 1. This may include changes to premiums, copays, provider networks, benefits and other out-of-pocket costs.

If you’ve looked through it and don’t like what you see, or you’re simply not sure what the changes mean, you do not have to figure it out on your own.

Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period runs from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. During this time, Medicare Advantage members can review their current coverage and make changes for the coming year.

I’m John Freitag, and my wife Stephanie and I own Freitag Family Insurance Agency here in Trevose. We help Medicare beneficiaries throughout Bucks County review their Medicare Advantage coverage and understand what options may be available.

There is no cost to work with us.

This year, it is especially important to pay attention if you received a notice that your current Medicare Advantage plan is ending at the end of 2026.

If your plan is terminating, you need to take action. If you do not enroll in a new Medicare Advantage plan, you will not have a Medicare Advantage plan on Jan. 1.

Do not wait until the end of the year to start sorting through your options.

If your 2027 plan changes do not look right or your current plan is ending, call Freitag Family Insurance Agency at 267-255-8774.

We’ll help you review your options and make the process easier. For more information, visit FreitagFamilyAgency.com,
